Our Mission

At Night & Day Designs, our mission is to create beautiful, meaningful products that fill your home with dhikr, purpose, and Islamic identity. We design art that turns daily life into moments of remembrance, uplifting the heart and nourishing the home while staying fully aligned with Islamic values by avoiding faces and imagery discouraged in our tradition.

Through Qur’an-inspired educational posters, faith-rooted canvas art, and halal-friendly family jigsaws, we aim to revive the beauty of our heritage and help every Muslim household surround itself with reminders of Allah.

We believe that when whatever you do is rooted in remembrance, it transforms ordinary moments into acts of worship.

Our Story

As a Muslim homemaker, I wanted my home to feel warm, nurturing, and filled with the light of faith — but I struggled to find décor that aligned with my values.

I searched for educational posters that used Qur’anic Arabic — not just modern standard Arabic.
I wanted designs that celebrated the incredible history of the Muslim world — a history often ignored or misrepresented. Secular education often paints Muslims as backwards or undeveloped, when in truth, our Ummah shone brightest while Europe was in its dark ages. We led the world in science, medicine, architecture, mathematics, astronomy, and philosophy.

I also discovered that so many products included faces, animals, or illustrated people — things I personally prefer to avoid in my home due to Islamic guidance.

So I began creating the products I wished existed:
✔ beautiful, faith-rooted designs
✔ educational resources inspired by Qur’anic vocabulary
✔ artwork honouring Islamic architecture
✔ halal-friendly jigsaws
✔ pieces that spark curiosity, learning, and remembrance

Night & Day Designs was born from a mother’s love, a Muslim woman’s pride in her heritage, and a desire to build a home shaped by faith, beauty, and purpose.

Learn

Every design in my shop has a story — a deep history, a spiritual meaning, or a connection to Islamic civilisation. But I can’t fit all of that knowledge on a product label.

That’s why I created the blog.

My blog is here so you can:

  • learn the Islamic history behind each design
  • understand the architecture, scholars, and civilisations that inspired it
  • deepen your connection to our heritage
  • gain knowledge even if you never make a purchase
  • explore more after bringing one of my pieces into your home

This space lets you walk away not just with a product, but with perspective, context, and benefit.
Because there is always more to these designs than meets the eye — more history, more meaning, more beauty, more remembrance.

My blog exists so that every visitor, customer or not, leaves knowing something new about Islam and the extraordinary civilisation it built.

FAQs

Why are some products priced higher?

We keep our prices as affordable as possible. Many of our items are made using high-quality materials and halal-friendly processes, so a large portion of the price (in some cases £20–£30) goes directly to production. We never inflate prices — our goal is simply to cover costs while offering beautiful, meaningful, faith-rooted products to every household.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. Delivery times and shipping costs may vary depending on location.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by location. Most items are made to order, so please allow a short processing time before dispatch.

Are your products suitable for gifts?

Definitely. Our items make meaningful Islamic gifts for families, children, home décor lovers, and anyone wanting spiritually uplifting reminders.
